Corona Virus Update
Following developments at a national level, with isolation requirements being continuously reviewed, it is with heavy hearts that The HICA Group will be closing its services to all visitors other than health and social care professionals, from Monday 23rd March 2020.
We have not taken this decision lightly and appreciate that this may cause some anxiety but feel that this is an appropriate response to the ongoing situation. The health and wellbeing of our residents and staff is our highest priority and we are working hard to prepare for the possible spread of the virus.
We are currently working with our telecommunications partner to increase our facilities to allow for SKYPE and videoconferencing with your loved ones, once this closure is in place.
We will also be introducing specific times for you to call the service so that the increased volume of calls does not impact upon our care delivery. All relatives are respectfully asked to call between 2pm and 4pm daily if you wish for an update. We will continue to contact you at any time if there is a change in the health and wellbeing of your loved one.
For over 25 years The HICA Group has been delivering specialist care and support services for older people and people with a learning disability.
Whether living in a residential home setting or in your own home, our dedicated and person-centred approach ensures that the people who use our services receive the support they need whilst maintaining their dignity, choice and independence.
We are dedicated to the principles of adding real and sustainable social value in each of the locations where we provide services and are committed to embracing diversity and supporting equality.About HICA
