Corona Virus Update - 24th June 2020
The HICA Group’s Senior Management Team continue to hold regular meetings throughout each week to determine the company’s ongoing response to coronavirus. Our Coronavirus Action Plan was instigated early to ensure the continued wellbeing of our service users and staff. This Action Plan is still very much in force with all services closed to all visitors other than health and social care professionals.
The welfare of our residents and staff remain our top priority at this time. However, we do fully realise how upsetting this time of isolation is for residents and family members alike. With this in mind, and with an eye on the government’s easing of lockdown restrictions, we have been actively looking at ways where short family visits can be made possible with shielded visits. Each location where shielded visits are possible will have strict guidelines which must be followed at all times. To find out if shielded visits to see your relatives are possible please contact the manager of the home.
We will continue to contact you at any time if there is a change in the health and wellbeing of your loved one.
We thank you for your continued support during these troubling times and wish to assure you that all care will continue as usual.
