We are expanding our home care support team in the Barton & surrounding areas and are looking for caring, reliable and hard working individuals to promote independence, whilst actively encouraging and supporting with making informed decisions.
Areas covered: Barton, Barrow, Goxhill & New Holland. Due to the range of locations, it is essential you hold a UK driving licence & have access to your own vehicle.
The company is unable to sponsor the employment of international workers in this role. You will be required to provide evidence of your right to work in the UK.

The Role:
As a Home Care Assistant you would deliver high quality care, visiting service users in their own homes. You would be responsible for ensuring they remain independent for as long as possible. This would involve preparing meals, personal care, assisting with medications, shopping – ensuring all their needs are met that are outlined in their own personal care plan. No two care plans are the same, each Service User is an individual and care plans written according to their needs. HICA at Home in Grimsby is one of 3 lead providers within North East Lincolnshire. We currently deliver approximately 2800 hours of community-based care per week in our geographical areas. These are Five ways, Cleethorpes, Humberston and New Waltham, covering all aspects of personal care, medication administration, shopping, domestic and sitter service.
We deliver one-to-one support services and also support HICA Care homes with services.
HICA is a ‘Not for Profit’ organisation providing a range of care services to older people and people with learning difficulties both within residential and nursing homes and within the community.
Successful candidates will need to complete an Enhanced DBS Check.
