Celia was a Registered General Nurse, Mental Health Nurse and Nurse Teacher. She has had vast experience working in the NHS, joint working with Social Services, Labour relations working for The Royal College of Nursing and the Department of Health. She was Chief Nurse to the then Hull Health Authority. Her particular expertise was in Change Management and Staff Development and her final post before retirement was as Director of Operations and Nursing.
She is committed to supporting all HICA staff in being the best in providing care to all those accessing our services. This is Celia’s second tenure on the Board having been a member for many years before taking a break. Celia is the Board Partner for Nursing and the Voluntary Sector.
