HICA Sponsored Walk 2023
We’re excited to announce the 2023 SHINE sponsored Walk, an event that embodies our commitment to making a real impact on the lives of those we support through fundraising for our SHINE Fund. As the fundraising arm of HICA, every donation contributes directly to providing enriching activities, outings, events and specialised equipment that bring a positive transformation to the individuals we care for.
On Saturday, September 23rd our walk begins at Hesslewood Country Office Park, leading us through the picturesque Humber Bridge Country Park, across the iconic Humber Bridge, around the Far Ings Nature Reserve, and back over the bridge to Hesslewood, totaling 10 miles. For those opting for a shorter distance, a 5-mile route is also available. All staff, friends and family are invited to participate, and we’ll gather at Hesslewood at 9 am, with the walk commencing at 9:30am. All money raised will directly support the SHINE Fund.
