Residents write poem celebrating local town

Tamarix Lodge is situated in the popular seaside resort of Withernsea, residents love to get out and about in the local area and have written a poem about what the town means to them. The poem was published in the Holderness Gazette.

Tamarix Lodge is a 35 bed care home, 29 of which are on the ground floor. We mainly offer physical care and support to older people and to people living with dementia. We are located close to local amenities, the beach & shops are within easy walking distance.

Tamarix Lodge has hairdressing facilities, a designated activity lounge and secure enclosed rear gardens for relaxing and enjoying the sea air. This also enables residents to join in with gardening activities if they wish to do so.

Tamarix Lodge has an extensive activities programme. We take into account service users’ likes and dislikes so if one activity doesn’t suit an individual, there will always be something on offer to reflect their personal interests.
