Administration

We have an exciting opportunity for a experienced Administrator to join our team at The Anchorage in Grimsby.

The company is unable to sponsor the employment of international workers in this role. You will be required to provide evidence of your right to work in the UK.

Pay & Hours:

  • £11.50 per hour
  • 14 hours per week, working 8.30am – 3.30pm
  • Working to a rota covering 7 days per week (every other weekend).

The Role:

  • Answering the telephone, logging, and passing on messages in a timely manner
  • Administering staff recruitment, payroll, and documentation.
  • Deal with queries relating to staffing matters for the home in accordance with HICA policies and procedures.
  • Ensure records for the home on the computerised management information system are maintained accurately maintaining confidentiality in line with HICA policies and procedures.
  • Administration of resident’s monies ensuring accountability
  • Other general administration duties as required.

About you:

  • Previous experience working in an Administrative role
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment and multi-task.
  • Previous experience working in a Care setting is advantageous.

Additional Information:

The Anchorage is a 41 bedded enhanced specialist care home split between an 13 bedded enhanced dementia community (The Haverstoe Suite) and a 28 bedded residential dementia community situated in Grimsby. It received a rating of Outstanding from the Care Quality Commission at its last inspection.

We provide a high quality approach to meaningful and fulfilling activities which are a key part to enabling people to engage and live well with dementia.
