The HICA Group has an exciting opportunity for a dedicated handy person to join the team at The Anchorage, based in Grimsby.
The company is unable to sponsor the employment of international workers in this role. You will be required to provide evidence of your right to work in the UK.
Pay & Hours:
- Rate of Pay: £11.50 per hour
- Hours of Work: 14 hours per week
- Shift Pattern: – Working to a rota covering 7 days per week.

The Role:
- To carry out general inspections, repairs and maintenance of building fittings and fixtures according to the maintenance schedule
- Undertake redecorating of all areas of the home (Internal and External)
- Deep Cleaning of Kitchens and Kitchen Equipment and Serveries
- Management of drainage systems
- Upkeep of exterior of the Home in line with Health and Safety

The Anchorage is a 41 bedded enhanced specialist care home split between an 13 bedded enhanced dementia community (The Haverstoe Suite) and a 28 bedded residential dementia community situated in Grimsby. It received a rating of Outstanding from the Care Quality Commission at its last inspection.

The successful candidate will be required to undertake an Enhanced DBS check.
