The HICA Group has a new opportunity for a dedicated and focused individual to join our kitchen team at Fairways based in Grimsby!

Pay & Hours:
- £11.50 per hour
- 14 hours per week
- Shift pattern: Weekday & Weekend shifts available. Working to a rota covering 7 days per week.

The Role:
- You will prepare, cook and serve food and drinks to our Service Users
- Ensure the cleanliness of the kitchen area is up to the highest standard.
- Be aware of specific needs and preferences from our Service Users
- Keeping cleaning products safely stored as well as ordering cleaning products for the kitchen.
- Using a person-centred approach towards our Service Users during mealtimes
About you:
- Previous experience of working in a kitchen environment would be preferred.
- Knowledge of individual dietary needs.
- A good understanding of those with challenging behaviours.
- Good communication and organisational skills.

Fairways Care Home, situated on Littles Coates Road in Grimsby, is a residential care facility with 55 beds. Our contemporary facilities are purpose-built and conveniently located on a single level, creating a comfortable and socially engaging environment for our residents.
HICA Group are a ‘Not for Profit’ organisation providing a range of care services to older people and people with learning difficulties both within residential and nursing homes and within the community.
The successful candidate will be required to undertake an Enhanced DBS check.
